Education and support for the next generation

J-TEC holds experience events and workshops on regenerative medicine for students and ordinary citizens so as to deepen understanding of regenerative medicine among more young people.
While striving to spread regenerative medicine to more facilities, we are also proactive about educating the next generation.

Apr/Mar 2019

Participated in "The Future of Health EXPO 2019", a public exhibition held in Chubu in 2019 at the time of the 30th General Assembly of The Japan Medical Congress under the concept of "See, Touch, Learn - Medical Theme Park". Our exhibit, entitled "City of Hope", had the theme of regenerative medicine, and we held a workshop for 111 elementary students, including an experience event on cell culturing entitled "Exciting Regenerative Medicine Lab"

Invited a total of 51 high school students from Aichi Prefectural Kariya Senior High School and Aichi Prefectural Okazaki Senior High School to participate in a company tour

Held science workshop entitled "What in the world is regenerative medicine? - Secrets of J-TEC" for local elementary school students and accompanying adults

Our employees presented visiting lectures to Tomida High School students (23 2nd-year students) in the city of Nagoya on the themes of "What is regenerative medicine?" and "What is it like to work in STEM?"

At the commemorative lecture meeting held to mark the 110th anniversary of the founding of Aichi Prefectural Okazakikita Senior High School, J-TEC President Ken-ichiro Hata presented a lecture on the theme of "Realizing regenerative medicine - Meeting the challenge of dream medicine"

Presented visiting lectures on problems in organ transplantation, the current state of regenerative medicine, and cells at Aikodai Meiden High School

Held science workshop for local elementary school students, who experienced 3 types of experiments, including hands-on experience with separation and transplantation, using simulated epidermis sheet.

July 2017

Invited a total of 20 students from Aichi Prefectural Kariya Senior High School and Aichi Prefectural Okazaki Senior High School to participate in a company tour. After employees presented lectures on Autologous Cultured Epidermis and Autologous Cultured Cartilage, students took part in practical training, including observation of cultured epidermis and experience with cultured cartilage transplantation.

July 2017

Students from Aichi Prefectural Meiwa Senior High School and students from Westminster High School in England, who were in Japan as exchange students, came to our company for an internship. After listening to lectures on regenerative medicine in Japan and J-TEC's business and products, given partially in English, the students experienced separation of simulated cultured epidermis sheet and took a tour of the company
