Provision of Autologous Cultured Epidermis to Taiwan
In June 2015, many people died of injuries and extensive burns in a dust explosion at the Formosa Fun Coast water park in Taiwan. In the summer of the same year, our company sent Japanese doctors to Taiwan at the request of the Taiwanese FDA and provided Autologous Cultured Epidermis free of charge, with advice from Japan Medical Association, 3 related learned societies, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and the PMDA.
On October 12, 2015, our company and everyone else involved (Japan Medical Association, 3 Japanese doctors, and Prof. Howard Green) received letters of thanks from Taiwan's Legislative Yuan (national assembly).
We aim to go on contributing to the global community through regenerative medicine.
