Japan Tissue Engineering Co., Ltd. (J-TEC) participated in the EUROTOX 2024 (the Federation of European Toxicologists and European Societies of Toxicology) held in Copenhagen from September 8th to September 11th, 2024, and exhibited our 3-dimensional cultured tissue models (LabCyte Series).

Cultured human tissues for research use (product name: LabCyte) are tissue models produced by culturing human cells in vitro. Because it is possible to reconstruct tissues with a structure and morphology that parallels those of human tissues, these models can be used to replace animal testing performed for the development of daily commodities, drugs, cosmetics, chemicals, etc.

Many conference attendees visited our booth every day and listened closely to explanations about LabCyte products. During the event, it was a great opportunity for many people around the world to become interested in the LabCyte and J-TEC.

We will continue to promote the use of alternatives to animal testing by providing the LabCyte series products and to support the development efforts of domestic and overseas manufacturers of daily commodities, drugs, cosmetics, chemicals, etc. that deal with a wide variety of chemical substances. We also aim to contribute to the further development of regenerative medicine and the improvement of the quality of life (QOL) of patients.
