LabCyte Exhibition at SOT 2026 (Society of Toxicology 65th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo)

J-TEC exhibited at SOT 2026 (the 65th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo), held in San Diego, California, from March 22 (Sun) to March 25 (Wed), 2026. At our booth, we introduced the LabCyte series, a lineup of reconstructed human tissue models cultured in vitro using human cells for research applications. Many researchers and industry professionals visited our booth again this year, leading to active discussions and new opportunities for collaboration.
J-TEC will continue contributing to the advancement of safety assessment through reliable and human‑relevant in vitro models.

Strengthening EpiSensA Partnerships

The LabCyte EPI‑MODEL24 is included in the international standard for in vitro skin irritation test for medical device extracts (ISO10993‑23). In addition, it is included in multiple OECD test guidelines (TD439, TG431) including in vitro skin sensitization assay EpiSensA* (TG442D).
During SOT, we visited our EpiSensA partner booths, SenzaGen AB (Sweden) and IIVS – Institute for In Vitro Sciences (USA), and received their latest flyers. These materials were also displayed at the J‑TEC booth and attracted significant interest from attendees.
Through our continued collaboration in EpiSensA, J‑TEC remains committed to supporting global efforts toward non‑animal testing and the advancement of modern safety assessment methods.
