"It's heavy"

Recently, at the 23rd Congress of the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine held in Niigata City, our company was awarded the "Regenerative Medicine Innovation Award."
This award was newly established at this Congress, and it recognizes active companies that are advancing the development of unique regenerative medicine technologies originating from Japan. It praises innovation initiatives based on industry-academia-government collaboration as well as companies that contribute to the development of the industry. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved, including Professor Shuji Terai, the president of the Congress, and Professor Hideyuki Okano, the president of the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine.

On the day of the award ceremony, four companies, including J-TEC, were presented with commemorative shields in the main hall of the conference. Despite Professor Terai's quiet remark, "It's heavy," when handing over the shield, I was deeply moved by its surprising weight. The weight seemed to tell the history of our company, and it made me feel even more grateful to everyone who has supported us, the doctors and patients who have used our products, and our employees who work hard every day.

The following day, I had the opportunity to give a lecture commemorating the award and explain our activities to date. Reflecting on a long period of 25 years, I shared various episodes and expressed my gratitude to many people. I hope that our efforts in regenerative medicine will bring joy to as many people as possible. I am grateful for this wonderful award and we will continue to work diligently to achieve even greater results.
